TOWN OF ASHFORD
MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER REG. MEETING
November 1,2010 10 people
present
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch,
Bob Burg and Dwain Knuth. The Clerk and Treasurer were also present.
The Agenda was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Pledge
of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the October meeting were
approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Treasurers report was
read and was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Building
Inspector had nothing and wasn’t present. Payment of the Bills was
read and approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Dwain Knuth. The Town Board
has agreed to adopt a temporary ordinance for the Eisenbaum trail in
Elmore. It was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The clerk
will post it and send copies to the rightful people. The Potawatami
has agreed to pay property taxes for the next 5 years and that is it.
The board agreed to this and was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by
Bob Burg. Doreen Ruplinger mentioned of adopting a tax bond
resolution for her and putting this under our General Liability
insurance this was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The
clerk will also post this and sent copies to the rightful people.
Survey map was Daniel Egan, he’s selling the land and keeping the
buildings, he brought in a map and the map was approved by Dwain Knuth
and 2nd by Bob Burg. Public Opinion Dwain mentioned that the town
should start to charge a $50.00 deposit fee along with the $50.00 hall
rent and for the people that rent the hall clean up and take care of
the hall they would get that $50.00 deposit back. He also made a list
of things that would be charged to the person renting the hall if they
were to happen. Joe Koch said it’ll be brought up at the Annual
Meeting in April. Gordon Glatzel wanted to know what can be done with
his neighbor, he has a concrete building up and the yard is a mess,
he’s tried to talk to this neighbor, but has given up, the sheriff’s
dept has been out there. Joe Koch said he’ll get in contact with the
Building Inspector and see what can be done with the place.Next
meeting is scheduled for December 6, 2010. Motion to adjourn by Dwain
Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg.
