August 10, 2009 Minutes of July Town Board Meeting
TOWN OF ASHFORD MINUTES OF THE JULY REG. MEETING July 6, 2009 18 people present Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch, Bob Burg, Dwain Knuth. The Clerk, Treasurer and Building Inspector were also present. The Agenda was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the June meeting were approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Treasurers report was read and was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Dwain Knuth. Building Inspector had nothing approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Payment of the Bills was read and approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Liquor License for Sportsmans Hide-A-Way LLC was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Dwain Knuth, this bar was the old Shenanigan’s in Ashford. The Town Board approved an ordinance to deny a liquor license if a bar has delinquent real or personal property taxes. Was approved by Dwain and 2nd by Bob Burg. There were two special gathering permits. St.Kilian Church was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Dwain Knuth, the other was Fatties on the Lake this special gathering has been cancelled per Amanda Bellin the owner of the bar. Had 1 survey map Dwain Knuth was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Joe Koch. Public Opinion Benny Hall was wondering if there was an Ordinance for people running motorcycles on a track in their own yard, and the Town Board said no. Dennis Petermann said that the Town could get a noise Ordinance and then they would have to stop at sunset. Joe Koch said can’t stop him from running motorcycles on his own property. He can’t have a business running out of his home, but friends and family can use this track as well and the Town Board can’t do nothing about it. Next meeting is scheduled for August 3,2009.
