December 7, 2009 Minutes of November 2, 2009 Town Board Meeting
TOWN OF ASHFORD MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER REG. MEETING Nov 2, 2009 3 people present Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch, Bob Burg, Dwain Knuth. The Clerk and Treasurer were also present. The Agenda was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the October meeting were approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Treasurers report was read and was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Building Inspector wasn’t present. Payment of the Bills was read and approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Doreen Ruplinger asked what the board would like in the letter that goes out with the tax bills, pretty much everything that was in the letter last year will be put in this year’s with updated information. Public Opinion Bob Burg asked about some warranties that go along with the truck one warranty is Engine warranty this warranty only covers the engine and cost $2200.00 for 7 years. The other warranty is a towing warranty, it only covers if the truck would break down on the road the cost is $250.00 for 7 years. Bob Burg also mentioned automatic degreaser this would cost $2700.00. Dwain was going to check with Tim Perron about an automatic degreaser and let the board know what he finds out at next month’s meeting. Tracy is working on log sheets for the drivers to fill out every month. They would start using them as of January 1, 2010 and would need to be handed in to the clerk by the end of every month. Also she’ll be keeping track of supplies the Town uses on the equipment. Joe Koch mentioned that the Planning Committee is taking to much time on rewording the Zoning Ordinances. The attorney has the final say of what is should say. Planning Committee is on call with the Town Board, that’s his feelings. The Planning Committee can discuss it at their next meeting.
