February 3, 2010 Minutes of January 4, 2010 Town Board Meeting
TOWN OF ASHFORD MINUTES OF THE JANUARY REG. MEETING Jan 4, 2010 5 people present Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch, Bob Burg, Dwain Knuth. The Clerk and Treasurer were also present. The Agenda was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the December meeting were approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Treasurers report was read and was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Dwain Knuth. Building Inspector wasn’t present. Payment of the Bills was read and approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Doug from Lakeside was present and explained the warranties, that the Town Board wanted to know what was covered and what wasn’t, he recommended the engine warranty for 84 months 50,000 miles or 1800 hours for $2200.00 for 7 years this is 100 % parts and labor-base warranty-unlimited miles. The towing warranty is good for 90 days from purchase of the truck and he said we are getting close to losing it. So the board decided on the towing warranty also it’s for 5 years $500.00 and it cost $275.00. No deductible. Dwain made a motion to accept the 2 warranties and Bob burg 2nd it. Bob Burg got rid of 2 dumpsters at the dump, because we never use them. It’ll save the town some money. Bob also asked about a bigger shed were the oil is kept, and Joe was going to ask if someone can make one, but not till summer. No Survey maps. Dan Wagner asked how the salt supply was going, and Joe Koch said he just ordered 4 more loads. Stan Brath asked why the salt shed doors were open, Joe replied no problems so far so we’ll keep them open, until we start to have problems. Next meeting is scheduled for February 1, 2010.
