January 5, 2009 Minutes of December Regular Meeting
TOWN OF ASHFORD MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER REGULAR MEETING December 1, 2008 6 people present Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch, Randy Sinotte, Bob Burg. The clerk and treasurer were also present. The Agenda was approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the November meeting were approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. Treasurers report was read and was approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. Building Inspector wasn't present but had a pole barn/shed and a deck and garage enclosure and was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Randy Sinotte. Payment of the Bills was read and approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. Caucus date is going to be January 10, 2009 @ 2:00 p.m. Mike Koffman was on hand to talk about the wind towers going up on the Johnsons property; the towers are Met Towers, are 165 feet high, have no light on them. He was asking the board for a land use permit for the temporary tower which will be put up first to measure the wind speed. At 14-18 months it will be taken down. Randy Sinotte mentioned that the town should look into this. Joe Koch will contact Town's attorney and have information at the January 5, 2009 meeting. Public Opinion: The light isn't working on the dam at Lake Bernice. Ken Tacke is a snowplow driver for the Town of Ashford. Survey maps - there were none.
