June 8, 2010 Minutes of May 3, 2010 Town Board Meeting
TOWN OF ASHFORD - MINUTES OF THE MAY REG. MEETING
05/03/10 6 people present
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch,
Bob Burg and Dwain Knuth. The Clerk and Treasurer were also present.
The Agenda was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Pledge
of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the April meeting were
approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Joe Koch. The Treasurers report was
read and was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Dwain Knuth. Building
Inspector wasn’t present. Payment of the Bills was read and approved
by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Joe Flasch wants to build a house
and brought in a Special Conditional Use Permit for the board to
approve and it was approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Liquor
Licenses were approved by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg. Bob
Giesfeldt says Lake Bernice is becoming a hazardous road and would
like the Town Board to change the speed limit sign to 35 mph, and put
up a 4 way stop sign by Badger and Lake Bernice. Joe said the town can
only drop the speed limit sign down to 45 mph and can’t act on it at
this month’s meeting, but will put on the agenda for June 7, 2010
meeting. Next meeting is scheduled for June 7, 2010. Motion to adjourn
by Dwain Knuth and 2nd by Bob Burg.
