TOWN OF ASHFORD
MINUTES OF THE APRIL REG. MEETING
April 6, 2009
7 people present
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch,
Randy Sinotte, Bob Burg. The Clerk, Treasurer and Building Inspector
were also present. The Agenda was approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by
Bob Burg. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the
March meeting were approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. The
Treasurers report was read and was approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd
by Bob Burg. Building Inspector had a garage and electrical service
approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. Payment of the Bills
was read and approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. John
Swimmer was a no show. Town will get $1906.04 for Recycling Grant on
or about May 1, 2009. Had 3 survey maps. Tim Bong was approved by
Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg Roll Call: Joe-yes, Randy-yes,
Bob-yes Approved 3-0. Thomas Zimdahl was approved by Randy Sinotte and
2nd by Bob Burg Roll Call: Joe-yes, Randy-yes, Bob-yes Approved 3-0.
Thomas Fleischman was approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg
Roll Call: Joe-yes, Randy-yes, Bob-yes Approved 3-0. Snowplow Bids
were from Peterbilt and Lakeside. Peterbilt bid was $114,200.00 with a
trade-in of $6,0000.00 and Lakeside was $99,179.00 for a 390
horsepower and $88,973.00 for a 350 horsepower trade-in was
$12,000.00. The Board went with the 390 horsepower-international motor
for $99,719.00, Randy Sinotte approved it and Bob Burg 2nd it. Had
Roll Call Joe-yes, Randy-yes, Bob-yes Approved 3-0. The board decided
not to trade-in their old plow truck, will keep it as an extra.
Autogreaser will be an add-on. Equipment will be decided at the May 4,
2009 meeting. Bids were from Monroe truck and V&H. Next meeting is
scheduled for May 4,2009. Motion to adjourn by Randy Sinotte and 2nd
by Bob Burg
