November 7, 2008 TOWN OF ASHFORD MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER REGULAR MEETING
October 6, 2008 4 people present Meeting was called to order by Chairman Joe Koch, Roll Call: Joe Koch, Randy Sinotte, Bob Burg. The Clerk and Treasurer were also present. The Agenda was approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and the minutes of the September meeting were approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Treasurers report was read and was approved by Bob Burg and 2nd by Randy Sinotte. Building Inspector had a home addition, free-stall barn and basement under mobile home, he wasn’t not present though, clerk read what he had and was approved by Randy Sinotte and 2nd by Bob Burg. The Town Website will be as is, the picture on the front page will be a map of Wisconsin with a star showing where the Town of Ashford is. John Swimmer attorney for the Potawatami Property was here about putting land into trust it’s an 80 acre parcel, the tribe may use it for ceremonial use. Nothing will change it will stay the way it is, no building on this parcel. He will send a resolution and agreement for the Town to look at and have Town’s attorney look at. Public Opinion Doreen Ruplinger had things to put in letter with tax bills-Bulky Dumpster the whole months of May and September, Rental fee for Town Hall will be $50.00, $2.00 bag charge starting January 1, 2009 and Farmland Preservation if you want to pay you can otherwise you don’t have to.
